The 9th International KAYES Congress, organized by the Eurasia Socio-Economic Research Association (ASEAD), will be held online on November 5-6, 2026, with the main theme of “Strategic Transformation in the Global Economy: Industry, Agriculture and Trade Policies.”
Recent geopolitical developments in the global economy, supply chain disruptions, energy and food security issues, changing trade policies, and technological transformation processes have brought new debates to the forefront in many areas, from production systems to public policies. In this process, where economic structures are being reshaped not only on the axis of productivity but also from the perspectives of economic security, resilience, sustainability, and competitiveness, the strategic importance of industrial, agricultural, and trade policies has become more visible.
Through an interdisciplinary approach, the 9th International KAYES Congress aims to address the strategic transformation process taking place in the global economy—specifically along the axis of industrial, agricultural, and trade policies—and to contribute to the sharing of scientific knowledge among academics, researchers, public institutions, sector representatives, and relevant stakeholders, focusing primarily on the following topics:
